                  Ranking System

Back to Main

The Raven's Ranking System is created in order to make friendly competition for higher places in the Guild.

 The Ranks and explanations are:

Council Lord (Guild Leader -Full Privileges)

Council Elder (Co-Leader - Full Privileges)

Council Chancellor (Invite, Expel)

Council Senator (Invite)

Council Advocate (Invite)

Quartermaster

Runemaster

Loremaster

Warmaster

Legatus

Pretorian

Centurion

Valoraire

Legionary

Champion

Defender

Minion

      Recruits:

A Rank not shown is the "Recruit". A recruit is on a probationary period once recruited into the Ravens. Recruits have no rank and may not challenge anyone for higher rank. The probationary period will last for about 2 weeks when council members will vote on deciding wither or not the recruit shall enter the Ravens officially. Recruits that enter the ranking system shall occupy the lowest open Rank on the list.

     Councilmen:

On top of the ranking system are five Councilmen. The Leader and Co-Leader, as well as three highly respected Guild members that have worked the hardest to achieve their status. The Councilmen make many of the choices and decisions that effect the Guild as a whole. Challenges can not be made toward the Leader and Co-Leader. Challenges can be made toward the Chancellor, Senator, or Advocate by the Quartermaster only. This challenge is highly scrutinized and may be turned down readily by the Leader or Co-Leader if the Quartermaster has not shown that he/she is ready.

    Challenges:

Challenges are PVP battles between two guildsmen for the a higher spot in the ranks. Challenges may be made against Guildsmen up to two ranks higher. Higher ranked Guildsman will have the right to challenge first before lower ranks.  Levels may only be within 10 levels  higher and any level lower than the Challenger. Challenge prepositions will be made 3 days before the challenged day. Once a challenge has been made, the Council will decide wither or not the Challenge is appropriate. Once approved, the Council will decide on the appropriate party members for both sides. The battle will be up to 3 vs. 3 members.

Winning is not the objective. Of coarse it gives some pluses for the Winning side, the Object of the Challenge is to show your ability to fight and the Strategies you used against  your opponent. Win or Lose, the Council will vote on who has shown better fortitude in battle. If the challenger wins the vote, he will take the higher rank replacing the one challenged. If lost, he stays.

Challenges can only be made every 2 weeks. All challenges will be fought on the same day. Challenge days are mandatory. If a challenge has been made and the one challenged does not show, he forfeits the match and the challenger will take his place.

     Expels:

If a member has been expelled or has left, lower members will all be ranked higher to fill the spot.

    Behavior:

Remember, this ranking system is for fun. Any rude behavior is in violation of Guild rules and will be reprimanded.
